2009 International Pipeline Security Forum
Please join us at the 2009 International Pipeline Security Forum to be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on October 28 and 29, 2009. The Forum is being hosted by Natural Resources Canada in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (Transportation Security Administration). The Forum will be held at the Government Conference Centre, downtown Ottawa, at 2 Rideau Street, beginning on the morning of Wednesday, October 28th and concluding on the afternoon of Thursday, October 29th. The Forum agenda is presently being developed, and will be sent to you in the coming weeks.
Registration for the 2009 International Pipeline Security Forum is free, however, attendance is limited to pipeline, energy and security representatives, and officials from private industry and government. The event is not open to the general public and media.
We have negotiated a special group rate with several hotels located in Ottawa's downtown core. However, this rate is being offered on a first come, first serve basis, so availability is limited. October is a busy time in Ottawa for conferences, so we strongly suggest that you register for the Forum and reserve your hotel rooms as early as possible.
